Ingredients for Mochomos

For Serves 4-6.
  • 1 1/2 lbs. pork meat
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter

For the guacamole:

  • 4 avocados
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and mashed
  • 1 serrano chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, chopped
  • - Salt

Preparation of Mochomos

1. In a saucepan put the pork meat with one onion quartered and a small amount of water. Cook until the meat is tender and the water has evaporated. Shred the meat very fine and fry in the butter until golden threads. Place the meat inthe center of a serving dish and surround with guacamole.

2. Prepare the guacamole: mash the skinned avocados with a wooden spoon, add the tomatoes, the onion chopped, chili and coriander. Mix well and season with salt.
