1. In a bowl beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the mashed bananas, salt, cinnamon, lemon juice and egg.
2. Sift together the flour with the baking powder and blend into the banana mixture.
3. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake in a moderate (3509 oven for 1 hour o until the cake is dry in the center.
