Ingredients for Shrimp Cebiche

For Serves 10.
  • 2 lbs. shrimp, shelled, cleaned and washed
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 6 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup bitter orange juice
  • 1 cup sweet orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup onions, sliced
  • - Salt
  • - Parsley or coriander, chopped
  • 1 cup popcorn

Preparation of Shrimp Cebiche

1. Boil the shrimp in the water with the garlic 1-2 minutes; drain. Add oil to the shrimp and mix well.

2. Combine all the other ingredients and pour over the shrimp. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve with popcorn.
