1. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the meat, onion, garlic, and the paprika until the meat and the onion are tender. Add the tomatoes and kernels; season with salt, pepper and oregano to taste.
2. Cook over low heat , covered, for 2 hours. Add more tomato juice if necessary. The stew should be thick. Serve with cooked potatoes.
