1. In a greased oven dish put the cherries. In a bowl beat the eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla and milk or cream. Pour over the cherries.
2. Bake in a preheated 350ยบ oven, 40-50 minutes. Serve hot or warm.
3. The batter can be prepared a day ahead and kept in the refrigerator. If desired, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of liqueur to the batter.
