Ingredients for Clam Soup
For Serves 4. - 1 lb. clams, cooked
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 slices bacon, in strips
- 2 plantains, sliced
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- - Salt and pepper
Preparation of Clam Soup
1. In a frying pan fry the bacon and in the same drippings sauté the onion. Add the clams, garlic, water and cook over low heat approximately 10 minutes; add plantains, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
2. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
