Ingredients for Milk and Papaya Drink
For Serves 3-4. - 1 ripe papaya, weighing about 12 ozs.
- 6 tablespoons coconut milk, or milk
- 5 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup finely crushed ice
- - Lime slices for garnish
Preparation of Milk and Papaya Drink
1. Peel the papaya, cut in half and remove the black seeds, chop fruit coarsely. Combine the papaya, coconut milk, lime juice and rind, sugar, vanilla and ice in an electric blender and blend at high speed until the mixture is smooth and thick.
2. Serve in chilled tumblers, garnished with lime slices.
