Ingredients for Green Banana Choricitos
For Makes 6-8 portions. - 8 green bananas (plantains)
- 1/4 lb. chorizo sausage
- 1/2 lb. beef chuck or rump roast
- - Salt, cumin and pepper
- - Butter, softened
- 3 eggs, beaten
- - Bread or cracker crumbs
- - Butter for frying
Preparation of Green Banana Choricitos
1. Peel the bananas and cook in water. Remove when tender, drain and grind with the chorizo and meat. Add salt, cumin and pepper.
2. Blend well and add enough butter to form a soft paste. Make little balls, dip in the beaten egg and then in bread or cracker crumbs. Fry in hot butter.
