Ingredients for Colombian Steak
For Serves 8. - 2 lbs. beef loin, cut into 8 steaks
- 4 onions, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- - Pinch oregano
- - Salt, pepper and cumin
- - Vegetable oil
Preparation of Colombian Steak
1. Season the steaks with mustard, pepper, cumin and vinegar. Let stand.
2. In a frying pan heat the oil and sauté the tomatoes, onion, garlic and oregano. Add salt.
3. In a large frying pan heat oil and saute the steaks until browned on both sides. Add the sauce and cook, covered 10 minutes over low heat.
