Ingredients for Serves 4. - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion finely, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 tomatoes, skinned, seeded, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped
- - Salt and pepper
Preparation of Fresh Tomato Sauce
1. In a saucepan heat the oil, add the onion and garlic; cook until transparent.
2. Add the tomatoes and cook over low heat 15-20 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Add the basil, salt and pepper, simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot over noodles.
