1. In a heavy skillet melt butter. Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes on each side. Add the peas and scallions; combine with shrimp. Pour in the vodka, and stir to coat the shrimp and vegetables. Season to taste.
2. With a slotted spoon remove the shrimp and vegetables to a heated platter. Reduce the vodka and correct seasonings. Pour the sauce over the shrimps, stir and serve with white rice.
