Ingredients for Clam Pate
Ingredients for Makes 2 cups. - 1/2 lb. clams, steamed
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- - Salt and chili sauce to taste
- 3/4 lb. (2 cups) cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 2 tablespoons green olives, chopped
Preparation of Clam Pate
1. Finely chop clams.
2. In a bowl combine mayonnaise and lemon juice; add salt and chili sauce to taste.
3. With an electric mixer beat the cream cheese; add the mayonnaise mixture. Add the chives, clams and olives. Mix well and pour into a small mold. Refrigerate, unmold and serve with toasts or crackers.
