1. This recipe must be prepared just before serving.
2. Squeeze the oranges. Rinse the raisins. Mix the sugar and vanilla. Peel the bananas.
3. Heat the serving dish. Have a skillet and spatula at hand. In the last minute, melt the butter. Cook the bananas 4-5 minutes and brown on both sides.
4. Add sugar, oranges, and raisins. Bring to a boil, add half the rum and heat 5 minutes.
5. Put the bananas in the hot serving dish. Heat the remaining rum and ignite the liquor at the table; pour over the fruits while still in flames.
